Tell me what you think of this novel/movie. DO you think they are telling us a part of the truth or everything in it is fake. I'd really like to know what you think.

Da Vinci Code is just a fiction. If the author gets some from the Holy Bible then what is taken from the Holy Bible is true. However, it is not used for a good purpose but to achieve the goals of the author and that is primarily to gain money if not stirring the faith of many to lead them away from the faith. For Christians following the Holy Bible, this is blasphemy against God. All who disobey God will receive the corresponding punishment.

Yes, that is just a fiction but it has stirred the faith of the many especially those who are still weak in their belief of what is written in the Bible. The author really earned much from the story.

There is an excellent book written by Sharan Newman called the Real History of the DaVinci Code. I highly recommend it. Newman has done an extraordinary amount of documentable research on the subject, and, unlike Dan Brown, has tons of multi-source evidence to back up her claims. Check it out!

i think there is at least a little bit truth in Da Vinci Code.Dan Brown has done so much research about the book that he presented a book which shattered the beliefs of millions and i can't imagine how many threats he might have received during the course of his novel(pre and post publication).Definitely he is a man courageous personified..what do you say???

I've read the book and watched the movie. I can say that the book is more interesting. I've also made some research on this after reading the book. It it true that there are books out there which mentions those stated in the Da Vinci Code(the bloodline of Christ,Mary Magdalene as Christ's wife, and others). We would not really know if these are true. It maybe and it maybe not. What matters is our faith. It is still up to you if you would believe or not. For me, I think there is a possibiliy. With knew discoveries such as the Gospel of Judas. What we know now may not be as it really is. But I can say, I am sticking to Christianity and still believe in Him.

I agree! The book is more interesting because it is very specific. I think skipped some of the scenes in the movie to make it shorter.

Well, if u say Magdelen's tomb is still untouched below the inverted pyramid, I wont believe because its something about the present but if u say that the Bible was reedited by constantine to make Jesus divine, then my sparer thought would be to believe the author. He has every right to say that as no-one can produce evidences against him. In the book, he is talking about the very first Bible which was written 300 years before constantine was born. Does that make sense?

Right! We dont really know what is what. I guess it's up to our faith. But you know, I think, if it is true that Jesus has descendants, wouldnt that be cool? Who knows were related. :)

I think most of the stuff tat is written in the da vinci code is true. Dan brown doesn't make up 2 many things. All the organisations tat he uses in his books actually exist. So he jus takes facts frm real life and makes up a story using them. I believe tat christ has descendants.

I have read and watch Da Vinci code it is a great novel but it is only a fiction novel. I believe it is far from the truth. It is very intriguing and deceiving story but if you don't have a great foundation on your faith you will be carried by it lies.

All the locations and the records do exist in reality. The Priory of Scion did exist once.Leonardo Da Vinci was a grandmaster. But the mystery still stands that whether it is true or not. The Catholic church is highly sceptical about this issue. They would never accept the fact if in case it is true that a bloodline of Jesus Christ does exists.
