Well basicaly Borat is quite a interesting project... To me it was extreamly funny but I think most of US and Afgan ppl that watched it were quite offended by it (especialy ppl that adore Pamela Anderson laugh.gif ). The same actor did the same kind of gigs set in UK but that movie didn't get much famous... So basicaly here is the question: do u consider that showing Afgan as a country from stone age, and showing US as land of utmost stupidity was just a bit too much or u think it was all just a good joke.

I don't think that he is against afghanistan in his movie. I think it is more like Kazakhstan, or kazakistan, however you write it, is the country that he offends, besides the US. Frankly, I don't ever plan on seeing it, because he is not worthy of my money or my time. I prefer something that is actually art, and not a pathetic impresonation of what a "kazakhistani" would be like. I feel sorry for anyone who is offended by him. And the reason I say this, is because if I were in the same place of those people that he makes fun of, I know I would be offended. If you think it is funny, and know that you would not be offended if you were a laughingstock, than that is fine, but for me, it is unjust. So, I cannot support his antics. The art world, is actually disappointed in his work, and feel cheated. Only time will tell, if he can get past the mess he has created for himself. He has offended too many people...this is a small world.

Thanks, I'm surprised, I thought maybe, you would have thought that I was totally uncool, and thus rate me negative, if I didn't agree with you. The other day, they were talking about him, and showed his fiance, I actually felt sorry for her. I never took theatre in college, but my English professor taught it, and he said, it is hard to be married to an actor because you can never tell if they are acting or not. So it is probably even harder to marry someone who spends most of his time in character...

considering the guy is actually Jewish, i think its hilarious! what better way to get back at stupid repressive people than to make fun of them. Sasha does exactly that, and pokes fun at everyone in the process, showing that in every arguement or war, there is stupidity on both sides. if people aren't able to laugh at this stupidity, there is no hope for the world.
