It looks like you got some good suggestions already. Do you have a dollar store where you live? You can get a lot of nice things from there. Maybe get a basket and put small things in it, like candles,candy,jewelry. Or maybe a gift card from her favorite store so she can buy something she really wants. Or maybe get a basket and put a coffee cup in it and some coffee,tea or even hot chocolate depending on what she likes. I hope I have helped. Its hard without knowing her.

We would first have to know a bit more about her; but then that would make her our friend. You are the one that knows her. Just really think hard about things she likes and try to fit something she likes into a catagory that will go along with your price range. It may be a day at a spa, it may be a used book. Who knows, it may be just time spent with the two of you alone - your treat - a little sight-seeing, a stop off for ice cream and coffee. No matter what it is, if she sees that you have taken the time to make it something "special", she will appreciate it ~Donna

Perhaps you could give her a nice house plant. She will think of you whenever she sees it. It is simple and can be inexpensive. It will also help filter the air in her house. Plants take in the carbon dioxide and put out oxygen. Maybe a Peace Lilly.

is she's a music lover, give her a copy of her favorite artist or compile her favorite songs in a cd. if she love's to dress up, uhmm bags will do. but if she's a simple lady, any gift, she will appreciate it. :)
