Global Warming Alert!! Plz Read..and give your reaction!!!!

hi everyone have u feel the sudden change in our climate these past days?..i feel that its getting warmer and warmer as each days come..hmmm
i have watched a tv documentary last night and its topic is all about Global Warming,..i heard to them that our ozone layer is in real danger right now, it is breaking, making a big hole that makes heat from the sun directly strike the earth, then this heat is being trapped into the atmosphere that makes it not to reflect back to space, but to continually reflect back and forth to the surface of the earth, which causes global warming...
i have heard to them that the major cause of this global warming is the execessive use of CFC containing products like the components in our refrigerator and airconditioners,.this CFC and other green house gasses when release, build up in the atmosphere and that prevents the heat from the sun be reflected from the outer space again,..
i have also heard that if this global warming continues, our global ice caps the north and the southpole, may melt, which can cause high tides, which will affect all the low lying areas in the earth specially island country specially the maldives and other low lying island-country...
i think we should make an act here before it gets too late, coz if not many will suffer from it, not only those who live in low lying areas but we all..we should lessen our usage of the products that contains green house gases specially the aerosol products which i think is the main producer of CFCs in the atmosphere cos it is widely used world wide,..we should make an action now, before all of us will suffer as i said earlier..what do you think?

Yes global warming is a real problem. Very informative discussion you have posted. I hope it makes more people aware of the problem. We all need to do our part no matter how small to make a difference. Here is a list of some of the things we can all do to help.
Use Compact Fluorescent Bulbs
Replace 3 frequently used light bulbs with compact fluorescent bulbs. Save 300 lbs. of carbon dioxide and $60 per year.
Inflate Your Tires
Keep the tires on your car adequately inflated. Check them monthly. Save 250 lbs. of carbon dioxide and $840 per year.
Change Your Air Filter
Check your car's air filter monthly. Save 800 lbs. of carbon dioxide and $130 per year.
Adjust Your Thermostat
Move your heater thermostat down two degrees in winter and up two degrees in the summer. Save 2000 lbs of carbon dioxide and $98 per year.
Change the AC Filter
Clean or replace dirty air conditioner filters as recommended. Save 350 lbs. of carbon dioxide and $150 per year.
Plant a Tree
Trees suck up carbon dioxide and make clean air for us to breathe. Save 2,000 lbs. of carbon dioxide per year.
Unplug Un-Used Electronics
Even when electronic devices are turned off, they use energy. Save over 1,000 lbs of carbon dioxide and $256 per year.
Bring Cloth Bags to the Market
Using your own cloth bag instead of plastic or paper bags reduces waste and requires no additional energy.
There are many more ways to help, these are just a few of them.
