its an online community thats helped mamy network succesfull also assisting in musical stardom and releasing some of the hottesst artists. has myspace helped in any specific way?

Somehow i think it would be best if you took a good look at myspace then you may take a more holistic approach. Its really a community with over a 100 million registered users which if you look at closely is smaller than russia by a mere 142000 :) they must be doing something right.

I think myspace is very important for artist. with it they can make know their music to the whole world. some artist that was unknown became famouse just because they put their music on myspace. An example of this are the band Arctic Monkeys. I don't have a band right now but if I had, I put my music on myspace to let know to everybody my music.

Yes indeed the artic monkeys are a global phenomenon. I also like the idea that my space allows users to view the latest music.
