homesickness, have you ever experianced it?

Homesickness is common among people, particulatly children who spend a signigicant amount of time away from home.
Have you ever gotton homesick?
Where were you and what happened to yo?
Can you remember if you did?
when I went away to my grandparents house in anouther country, I got homesick, and cried for the first few days, then I got over it.

yes i have experienced homesickness .and i can understand how much it is painfull to get separated from your family.

Seriously, I was working out side my home, and what I found is that you almost have to make yourself a home outside of home. Pretty much like, I had a girl; she was lonely, i was lonely, but together, we shared that lonilness and became almost like bro and sis. Its really tough to feel at home with no one or nothing to relate

I am a pensioner now but I remember when I was little I was in the girl Guides , I so mush wanted to go to the guide camp , but when I did I was really home sick , My friend was too and she was crying for her mum , I tried to be grown up but I did want to cry too , I got over it in a day though and it was brilliant , I can still remember the games we played and the grass in every meal lol, xx
