How do sniffer dogs able to trace culprits just by smelling ...!

[olice use sniffer dogs to catch the culprits isn't it? have you ever wondered how does these sniffer dogs trace culprits just by smelling some of the things culprits touched ...isn't it great way of catching criminals ?

I read that sent to a dog is like colors to us. Each smell would be it's own unique color for a dog. So my sent would be a shade of blue and your sent would be a shade of violet and so on and so forth.

Yes, well said human beings are bound to produce unique smells of their own and sniffer dogs will smell the things which the culprits touched and thenn follow the culprit even if the culprit has dissappeared from the scene of crime long before....
