I grew up in Sweden but I now live in Australia. There are things I really love about Sweden and some things I really hate about Sweden. What do like/hate about Sweden?

I hate that the people living here are afraid of living a life on their own, without support from the government. Also the people living here are complaining A LOT on just about everything there is to complain about, the weather, the schools, the government, but nobody does anything about it. The good things about Sweden are; the free education, the support from the government (if you need it, you shouldn't be depending on it). But last, but not least, everything runs so smoothly here in Sweden, take the snow for an instance, two days ago it started snowing as hell and everything was covered in snow. On one day they plowed all the streets and on Monday morning, even though it was -8 degrees celcius, everybody was going to work as usual. We people who live here don't think about it that much, but if you do, it's really amazing. I know I've done some complaining, but that only proves that I'm a real Swede.

the hottest place in Australia must be northern Territory. everything up north here is much hotter. i live in the south and the summers here are around 30-35 and sun. the winters are a little cooler.

I visited sweden over the summer and loved it. the towns and coastline is beautiful. I also heard about ther socialist gov't- something like 40% taxes and in my opinion they get so much more out of it than the US. People are so nice too

There is a really long list of both, I have to say, it would take me forever to answer here. But I find that the longer I am away from Sweden, the more I appreciate it!
