We have two wooden cots on which our children slept from 0-20 years of age. They have become old and worn out. Carpenters are asking huge amounts to repair them, more than new cots. Our children refuse to take one each to their place and keep with them as a memorabla, owing to transport costs and space problems in rented premises. I wanted to gift them to friends who are ready to take free. My wife is vehemently objecting. What to do with objects of sentiment?
