I think that is like unwrapping your Christmas presents before Christmas. I have 3 girls and I was surprised each time. I loved the anticipation of not knowing and everyone else about went crazy from not knowing.

the way i see it is, its a surprise no matterif you find out now or when he or she is born. I wanted to know so i could plan for things and get his room together (not just get green and yellow everything) Its up to the couple though Good luck with your pregnancy!!

Thanks for the post... youre right.. I could hardly wait.. and Im still wondering if they have it right. I was told a boy.. but it's could be tricky.. the cord was in the right place to where it could have been that. I dont know.. I guess at this point.. its still a surprise... lol... Thanks again for stopping by.

When I had my first baby this wasn't an option. However, when I was pregnant with twins...I just asked to know if one was a boy. I already had a girl and just wanted to have some clothing on hand for a boy since there would be no hand me downs. But I can see how you may want to know on the first baby since you don't have anything yet. But I'd want a surprise for sure on any that followed!
