Whats your favorit/Least favorite genere of music?

My favorite genre of music has to be metal, specially industrial metal, since I love the sounds of sampled machines or intelligent keyboard playing mixed with some steady drum beats and killer guitar riffs. I also have a soft spot for jazz and progressive rock. The genres I happen to like the least are both rap and hip-hop, I don't think those require any talent at all.

Well my least favorite would be a toss up between Hillbilly and Rap. I do not like either one of those. I listen to a lot of country music, pop, soft rock for the most part. For relaxation I love classical for that. I put that in and I can drift off without a problem.

I'd say my favorite is a tie between country and classic hard rock/metal. My least favorite is rap/Hip-Hop; I just feel like it's something I can't relate to, and honestly don't consider it to be real "music"...It's definitely a form of entertainment, but for the most part, with the sampling and the lack of non-synthesized instruments, I just don't see it as a form of music. As far as what relaxes me, it'd be a toss-up between country, and 70's/early 80's hard rock...Bands like UFO, Thin Lizzy, Rainbow...

My favourite genre = Rock, Alternative My least favourite = R&B, Pop

i like all music from rap to rock, however i do not like pop. the best is indie rock, because the lyrics and use of instruments is awesome, however i do like suff like linkin park because of the mix of rap and rock
