If you homeschool your children what websites do you use? Are they free? If you have to pay, do you think they are worth the cost?

I use www.time4learning dot com and it is great. I think it is worth the 15/month. They actually make some things fun but they are still learning. This is not our sole source of curriculum but more of a tool to add into our day.

I'll check that website out. Are your children pretty young? I'm just wondering if this site is just for young children.

No this goes from preschool up to the eigth grade. I know the preschool - 1 st grade program well and love it and I know several people in our area use it with mid school kids.

Oh okay. That's good to know. There's alot of sites that seem focused on just the early years of education. There seems to be alot to find on say pre-school and the first few years of elementry. But, they seem to thin out when you look for middle / JR high to high school levels.

We use Time4learning and really like it, and so do the kids. Of course Danie is still hard to motivate, but she likes this better than any other program we've used so far, including SOS. They have to do other work too, but Time4learning is most of their work. Another neat thing is they can interact with other kids.

They go through their stages of being difficult.Even if they were in public school, they would have their times of not wanting to do their school work. So,don't let it get you frustrated. It's nothing against you. She's doing what kids do.
