my cat won`t

He won`t use the litter box, I keep it clean and he still refuses . I Its funny though I have a german shephard and he has a huge bowl and my cat will piddle in it if it empty, so I keep it full of food/water. I started putting him outside even all night , but he will hold it the whole time til he comes in . I`ve thoughtof getting rid of him but I figure no one else will want him so I don`t want to , He is a beautiful cat Siemese/Himilayn long haired so I don`t wnt to get rid of him
Anyone have any suggestions

Have you tried putting the litter box in another place? Cats don't like their litter boxes in a high traffic area. They are very private animals when it comes to relieving themselves. Also it could the litter box itself. Maybe there's an odor on the box that you can't smell but she can. There could be any number of reaons why she won't use her litter box. The best bet is to consult the vet and see what he says.

Yes I`ve moved it all over my house nothing seems to be working. Next time I spray vinegar and water where he uses it see if that will work.
