Are there any genuine work from home opportunities?

I am currently a stay at home mom, but I am looking for a job. I do not want to work fulltime because that is time you just can't get that time back. Also, it is just not cost effective anymore. Two-thirds of your income (usually more) goes directly into childcare, sure it's tax deductible, but what you actually bring home will hardly pay for groceries. It is as if you didn't work at all. I have always contributed financially, and I feel as I have lost a great sense of self by not doing so. I see ads all the time for work from home opportunities/businesses, the problem is they want you to pay $200 for the start up package, or pay a monthly fee, and there is no guarantee. I wish there was something that paid hourly where I could log in online, do whatever it is I am employed to do, and log out. I mean I would even be satisfied with telemarketing (which I HATE doing), if it meant I could be home with my son.

This growing trend throughout the country is focused on agents handling incoming customer service inquiries from their homes while connected to a network via computer and landline (no cell or cordless) phone (which you must provide). There are two distinct business models in this industry: independent contractor or employee. Prior sales or customer service experience is a plus, but not a requirement. Bilingual skills are also an asset. Two companies, Alpine Access (www.alpineaccess.com) and Working Solutions(www.workingsolutions.com) hires virtual (online) agents as employees. Other companies, including Willow CSN (www.willowcsn.com), LiveOps (www.liveops.com), VIPdesk (www.vipdesk.com),and the West Company (www.workathomeagents.com) among others, require agents to incorporate, and they're hired as independent contractors. Hourly wages range from $8 an hour to $15 an hour, which is determined based on experience, skill level, and the specific needs of the client you're serving. Ask in advance how the company pays its agents. Some pay hourly from when you clock in until you clock out. For others, the meter runs only while you're on an actual call; you're not paid for downtime between calls. Good luck - I work for Alpine Access.

From my experience I tell you that you can not make enough money on the internet or elsewhere without cheating or doing hard work.

I'm not talking about not working hard, I am talking about working from home. There is a difference. I am certainly not looking for an easy way out. I am just looking for a way to be a mother and a financial contributor without spending most of my money on childcare.

If you enjoy writing, I write content articles for a couple of different sites. The first is Associated Content. There is no fee to join and they pay you $5-$20 per article they accept. It's a great place. http://www.associatedcontent.com/join.html?refer=15512 The other site I will need to have your email address to send you an invite. If you don't want to post it here, you can do a friends request for me, and then send it that way. MyLot is also great for extra money. You won't make it rich, but it is something. I have made about $70 in the last two months on myLot. Welcome, and I look forward to getting to know you.

Hey there. Go to http://www.cashjourney.net All 3 opportunities are cost effective but I recommend Honest Riches & it is the least of them all. You will definitely learn about online money making. Good luck to you.

My suggestion would be to try searching www.WorkatHomeCareers.com, They have all kinds of jobs listed there, I have found a couple small jobs there and if you have any experience you are more likely to find a Job. Wahm.com is also a good one to find job leads. Good luck and if you ever decide for a home business try http://ShowMe.TopRatebiz.com
