Do you know about the software LimeWire?

be careful while using it cause it is a sharing softwares and there are lot of virus in it

I have not used it, but I know a bit about it, its like winproxy I guess, once my friend told me that, limewire can bypass proxy settings for download limit, e.g. I have 50 MB downloading limit for 1 day, so using limewire I can download without worrying about my 50 MB limit, but I have never used it

Limewire is an illegal music downloading program that you surely have. Anyone who knows about it, uses it. If by any chance the government finds you in particular, which they wont, you can get a fine of up to 450 USD per song you have downloaded. My advice, dont use, buy some cds with the money you make from this. On the other hand, it is cheap and free, so why not

Yea i do know about LIMEWIRE , its the P2P software like ARES , BEARSHARE right nah!? I used it last year and it wasn't good for me , may be because of the country where i stay(INDIA),though many internet users prefer using it and recommend using it still i don't want to use it.It wasn't good in downloading files moreover i got aware that our PC gets prone to viruses because of LIMEWIRE , yea yea because of all P2P programs there's a risk of viruses but the risk is much higher with LIMEWIRE . SO A BIG NO FROM ME TO LIMEWIRE !

i am using lime wire from one month downlaoding speed is very low and sometimes it is normal songs are downloaded fastly but videos and games take more time to download so it is good software and any search result is given......................

It is a great P2P software that allows its users to share files. It is a great software. You can find almost anything digital from Limewire. Only, beware of viral downloads here. It has many fake downloads that contains viruses.

its ok to download some files using limewire but be carefull, it might be carrying a virus so when you already downloaded a file using limewire make sure you scan it first before using that file. It's better to be safe than sorry.

My friend uses it and she gets viruses all the time. I suggest you use azareus for PC or tomatotorrent for mac and find the torrents on piratebay.se

ya i have heard about lime wire and i have also used it. its a peer 2 peer software which is usefull to download stuff from others computers

We have used it and found it bette than Kazaa and Bearshare. Both of which have adware in them. We couldn't keep them with our anitvirus. Always had to run it and then clear them out. The alerts from our antivirus was also annoying.lol Anyway, Kazaa gets more files but you can find nearly anything with Limewire! Hope that this helps you!!

I have Lime Wire in my computer, but I rarely use it. I usually download stuff via torrent instead. Lime Wire drains my computer's RAM so fast when I leave it open.

It's a peer-to-peer application where you can share and download almost every type of files (Audios, Videos, Softwares, etc...). I use it mostly for downloading audios and videos. (^_^)

yes i had used limewire...but now the connection is down i can download any more....i hate limewire

Of course i have.. I even have LimeWire Pro :D It is very easy to use, and the download speeds are great (especially when you have Pro) and if you have a good AntiVirus program, you should be able to hold your computer pretty clean.
