to forget a person that you love

it's the most hardest thing to forget some one you love from the bottom of your heart... someone important used to say that time fixes all... i don't belive it.. i think that in time you just realise that the person is not in your life any more..but you can't forget... you can't leave behind all those kisses..and all the promises made under the moon... you don't cry any more..and if you do it is only a little while.... but you can feel that something it missing from your heart... and you feel incomplete... knowing that you will never love that much again... please comment on this

well,i know very well the feeling.I`m a difficult person if I could say so,but I loved someone from the bottom of my heart ,but he disappointed me very much.You know what I`m talking.I`ve tried to forget him,but i couldn`t manage in doing that.There is a latin quote which says something like this"the wound maded by love could only be treated by whom had made it"..i don`t know if i turn into english verry well,but the essential is that neither the time,nor the person above you can`t give you help.it`s something that remains right there,and all you can do is fall in love again in order to replace this wounds with happiness,even if you won`t totally persuade in it.

For my own experience I say to you that time in this cases it´s our best friends, maybe this wasn´t the time to stop, you are young you will have so many times to love more and more. Just let´s time do his part, then you´ll be fine.

I understand exactly what you are saying. I've been trying to get over someone for more than 3 years now and its not getting any easier. I loved him more than anything and still do. I do feel wrong now because i know there is no way i will ever feel that again for no one else and im just wasting my time in other relationships.
