Well i am just posting this to help those who are trying to get their rank up ^-^ 1. Make sure to rate alot of positive. Unless necessary rate negative. 2. Make alot of friends and reply to their posts. 3. Make interesting discussions 4. Get 'best responses' from other discussions 5. Post good quality posts 6. Post helpful things 7. If you make a discussion, rate all responses and comment them. The Do not do list: 1. Lay of the insults 2. Do not swear 3. Do not post in as if to be sarcastic (only if it's bad sarcasm) 4. Do not post one liners and two liners, 3 or 4 liners are OK. 5. Do not make 'hates' discussions And it is as simple as that! If you follow that you are bound to get a good rank! If you want to add more to this list of How to get your rank up at Mylot, Feel free to post the extras :)

Thank you for your advice. I think I can do that. So easy and simple. But sometime the discussion too basicly. Just like a reguler blog I think. Not interesting, just want to increase the earnings. Why like that?

Well usualy the best responses are either the best quality of response or the most helpful ones. And the bad thing is that most people just give best responses to either their friends or the first poster. So i recommand try and make alot of friends or try and post something good.

Thanks for those tips! I know all of them, and I hope that new members will read it, and do exacly like you wrote. I have seen here a lot of "hate" discussions, and I have rated all of them with a (-).

These are very good suggestions, but sometimes (like this one) I can't write more than 1 or 2 lines about it! :)

Hi friend it good information that you post that is all guiding a member to have good rank, thanks and I would like to add some more tips which will make a discussion get more responses. I am not sure if there is something to do with each other between earning ratio , respond and star rating, but getting more responds to the discussion I created always makes me happy though you are discussiong the same topic. According to my study, there are two kinds of people and also two types of responds usually here in mylot. 1. short responds with only a few words, and the posters are usually newbies or money addicts. They make a respond just for increasing their post quantity to get more rating and to get to 500 so that they can use copy and paste function,or other guys who only post for money purpose. 2. long responds with many words and abundant contents. These posters are usually serious ones. They only respond to the topics that attract their interest, and they have some ideas to show or to share on that topic. both of the discusion creater or other readers can gain something from their posts.

Thanks and I'd like to add some more tips which will make a discussion get more responses! I am not sure if there is something to do with each other between earning ratio and respond amounts. but getting more responds to the discussion I created always makes me happy! well, that's what I am going to talk, why others get more responds than you, though you are discussiong the same topic. First of all, let's see what drives people to make a respond??? According to my study, there are two kinds of ppl and also two types of responds here on mylot usually! 1. short responds with only a few words, and the posters are usually newbies or money addicts. They make a respond just for increasing their post quantity to get more rating and to get to 500 so that they can use copy and paste function; or other guys who only post for money purpose. Their posts are usually meaningless. 2. long responds with many words and abundant contents. These posters are usually serious ones. They only respond to the topics that attract their interest, and they have something, some ideas to show or to share on that very topic. They always give out of their own ideas in their responds; both the discusion creater or other readers can gain something from their posts. Now you may know that which kind of posters you need to get hold of! It goes without saying, we should drive the 2nd posters to make more responds. While whether they make a respond or not depends on what you are discussing! That is the content of your discussion, if it is worth discussing or not!!!!!! So now you may know how to make a discussion??? a. always discuss something that most ppl may be interested in; b. always try to make your discussion meaningful; c. always make your discussion has abundant content; d. always post your own ideas in your discussion; e. always try to type more (but not bullsh*t); f. always ask questions at the end of your posts (drive the others to comment on your ideas) Enjoy your mylot day and good luck!

Very good advice, especially for us mylot newbies. lol I'm glad I checked your profile to find this topic. I have given you a positive rating on this topic. I can barely see the little rating thingy, but now that I know where it is, I'll start using it. Have a great day..
