I am irate. I want to strike back at those that commit and support such acts. It is intolerance, ignorance, and hate that feuls these attacks. I think there is a clash of civilizations right now, and I think that there will be a war between political Islamic fundamentalism and the democratic remainder of the world. Hopefully these leaders and supporters are just part of the growing pains of independence that all newly independent countries had and after such bad political systems they will die out and become more stable.

I don't feel happy about any terrorist attacks anywhere. It's sad that the innocent victims are always the civilians and terrorism has destroyed to many lives. Peace would be a nice idea

It is easy to talk of terror on the western countries and fellow people.Has any one ever tried to ask why is this??.The West and fellow people treatment has made people to do things of these kind. They cant be at the receiving end any more so they do thins like this to make them aware about the atrocities they are doing.

I would hope that no one here will answer that they feel happy about any terrorist attack in any part of the world. Terrorism results in needless loss of innocent human lives. Why would a normal human being feel joy from this?

terrorist attacks are more than just a battle of ideologies. i despise the interests of the powerful in the West but that does not follow that i adhere with the terrorist's cause. central to this atrocity was those innocent people killed. no sane human being would tolerate terrorism neither no sane political leaders sponsor state terrorism. I am against the Bush administration's foreign policy but not against the Americans. Those people voiced out their sentiments through opinion polls and majority of them do not even support the president. Surely terrorism is a global challenge. our national sentiments, therefore, should have no place in discussing the issue. we feel what is happening in the other region, the killings and abuses. we need not focus on our differences but on our common humanity. and right now, we are on the brink of another world war.
