how do you remember everything?

I have never been able to figure out how I can remember some of the stuff that I do remember. I remember everything and can replay it back in my head visually. Scary sometimes.

pretty much like people I have met I remember them. How to cook, Now I have forgotten a few things I have learned since I was in school.

So, you are a visual learner. I am the same way too. If I can not picture something in my head, I can't tell exactly what it is, until I do so.

I remember everything when I think of something similar or the same it is very easy then to recall.

That's very interesting question!! Let me think, I forgot that... LOL I have various techniques to remember different things. If you I meet any person at the first time and I want to remember his name. I observe his behaviour and face, I also listen to his conversation very carefully. I usualy get something to related with this person. Like some people have habit of touching other person while talking, some have habit of saying some specific word every now and then. I simply corelated this with that person and so I could remember that person. If i want to remember any specific number, like cell number, a/c number etc. I will break it into parts and speak out those loudly for 2-3 times. Ex. if number is 9879799381, I will remember it as 98 79 79 9381 I am sure once you have enough pratice doing this, you will start remembering the things fast.
