I'm going to try my hardest to find something else to watch tonight. I can't handle listening to Bush try and get through a 2 hour speech, even though I'm sure it could be very humerous.

Bush is usually a very good speaker. I don't know why people nitpick at his various mistakes, but many of his speeches are very good. I think its pretty funny people make fun of his speaking skilsl when the man went to Yale and is obviously a better public speaker than most of the people criticizing him.

You do know that most Presidents have someone else write their speeches for them right? Ben Stein use to write for numerous Presidents. Plus, just because someone went to Yale or some other Ivy League school doesn't suddenly make them better then anyone else.

I'm fully aware, I also know that Bush is a good speaker. I didn't say going to an Ivy League school makes you better than anyone else, I simply pointed out that you shouldn't make fun of someone how misspeaks, especially when they have a more advanced education, doubtlessly including public communication, than us. Do you complain when people spell poorly or misspeak on MyLot too? Or is that reserved for someone you disagree with?

I didn't watch it. I think he keeps saying the same things over and over and not really doing anything about them. The only thing Bush seems to really be concerned about is his war.

I had not planned on watching it no, but I did end up watching it. I thought Bush gave a really good speech and made alot of good points. I normally don't watch alot of those kind of speeches myself never have. But I happen to watch this one. I can't believe the way Hillary was sitting there with her lips pressed together so tightly. I was like I didn't want to vote for her to begin with, now I don't for sure. It was like her way or noway concept what about the people is she runs for president I'm not so sure she would use it for the people.

I haven't missed watching a State of the Union in years no matter who was delivering it. It is a relatively boring speech to watch for those who do not hold a passionate interest in the political realm but it is also a great learning experience as to the direction of where we want the country to go.

I'll either watch it on TV or catch it on the radio. I admit, I'm interested in what he'll have to say. The guy's not AS big of an idiot as people make him out to be.
