Do dogs prefer to urinate on the grass?

We are having construction done to our house. Therefore our grassed area is fenced away. My dog could normally urinate there through her dog door. Now all she has is a brick pavement area (still a sufficeint size for her to play in as well) to urinate for the next 2 months. She still has her doggy door, so she is free to go outside into the paving area whenever. Is she going to not urinate on the paving, if she's used to only grass? or will she just go when need be? when she had full run of the backyard, she only pood on paving as a puppy, and only a rare few times as she grew up.
