State of the Union

I am watching it right now. And I am seriously thinking how this is not worth missing Law and Order: CI. I usually put on a movie when he's talking. It's not that I don't want to see him, or hear him, so much as I just can't stay listening to speeches - period.

I think it was just more of Bush being Bush. Saying what makes Bush happy. Doing what makes Bush happy. He refuses to listen to what the people who elected him want. I don't see him ever getting any better. Just today he said it was HIS choice on sendng more troops. Hopefully we will survive the Bush years intact but it is going to take a miracle.
