Bill Richardson 2008?

Lets have a civilized discussion on this. Character attacks and blatant misspellings will be negatively rated. Fmr. Governor of New Mexico Bill Richardson has thrown his hat into the ring. He is attempting to become the first latino President. Gov. Richardson is a long shot. I honestly don't know enough about him to know how he stands on major issues, but I am willing to listen to those of you who do.

I think he's got the background to be a very good candidate and maybe a good president. He's been a governor, served in an administration (can't remember--UN ambassador?), etc. Lots of good international experience. He's one of the few people the North Koreans will talk to. Maybe he could help break new ground in some of these situations with Iran, etc.
