My friend was comming from the office. On the way a lady approached her with a baby at hand and said that she lost her purse with passport,id cards and keys of her house.Asked her whether she could call a locksmith to open her house. My friend called locksmith aith the address the lady gave. After that the lady asked for 10$ to take her son from the nearby daycare centre. My friend gave the money and she left.Locksmith called my friend's number and told that address does not exist. My friend enquired and found the address was fake.So my friend got cheated. So my question is should we stop helping people who ask for help.

That seems so weird, it just seems like a lot of trouble to go through just for $10! I think it's ashame to not help people who ask but personally if I'm out somewhere alone I'm very wary of people coming up to me and would not be likely to do much for a person out of fear. Look at all the things you hear about, people being cheated like your story, girls being lured away under the guise of helping and getting murdered. It's scary.
