the sequel??

I read Scarlett. I thought it was an okay sequel. But definitely nothing compared to Gone with the wind. Some parts really didn't seem right. And you're right about the scene with the witch, it was kind of creepy :P I haven't heard anything about a third installation. But i do know that some guy wrote the story from Rhett's point of view. it's called "Rhett Butler's People" by Donald McCain.

its been over 12 years since i saw the movie scarlett.. they did just make the book "rhett or rhett butler" which is all about his charator so i dunno if that was the third one you had heard about

Wow!! !I didn't know there was a second. I have to read it. Was it ever made into a movie? If so, who starred in it? Same characters or different ones? When was it made? I loved the original, could a new one be just as good? Was it written by the same author?

I haven't heard anything about a third instalation. I have read scarlett and I thought It was a wonderful book. I thind she was ahead of her time and willing to do what ever it took to make it.

I never heard about a third installation either. As for Scarlett I would have liked it more indeed if it wouldn't have been for that witch. What role did she have in there anyway. I don't like it when books resort to supernatural for no reason at all. I mean couldn't Scarlett have had a difficult childbirth even without a witch being involved?
