which do you prefer, a tumbler or a mug?

it really depends on a situation,. but tumbler is more convenient.. i also collect mugs, and tumblers too.

It actually not a tough choice, Since you already mention the advantages of the tumbler I would choose tumbler as well . Tumbler is much more durable compare to mug. There are some mug that make out of clay and that kind of mug is easy to break. Tumble is different , There are tumble that make out of plastic and steel. Of cause the inside were stainless steel and the outside were plastic. If you close the tumbler you won't spill the drink and you can put put it in a car. on the other hand mug cannot be close. you can cover the top with the "mug cover" but it won't prevent spilling if you drop it. Tumbler and mug are used on different occasional and different places. Because of the nature of the tumbler it is build for portable and it can bring to anywhere. Usually people bring it to work, put it in to car or bringing it to picnic. Mug were used in either home for breakfast such as oat ( yes, people use mug for drinking oat ) and in office for tea time drinking or instant soup. Well I only know this much and I hope that I answered your question. ^^

i prefer MUG cause I'm a MUG collector. And i love mugs. So anyone out there you can donate any mug to me..^_^

yeah i too prefer a tumbler rather then a mug..yeah it's quite more comfortable... i will always use tumbler in place mug.......hey u wanna like friendship with me........

Tumbler over Mug... Because of the same reason. It really maintain the hotness or coldness of whatever inside the tumbler.

If I'm at home and drinking coffee, I normally just use a mug. If I want to go anywhere though, I take my tumbler. At work, I always use a tumbler whether it's hot or cold. It keeps it from spilling, which is something I like to do apparently..

I am more comfortable drinking my coffee from a mug because that's what I am used to.

It depends on what I am doing. If i am at home a prefer to drink from a mug. But if I am going somewhere I always take a tumbler and drink it on the go.

At home, I prefer to use mug when I take my coffee. I have a tumbler in the office. it's what I use everyday when I work. I use it for water, for coffee and for my tea. It's so convenient and it really maintains the temperature. Another good thing about it is that it doesn't spill and it's very durable. I won't be comfortable using a mug when I take a drink at my office table.

I really prefer tumbler. I mean, you're right, it can maintain the temperature of any drink in the tumbler. :) Moreover,it's very convinient for me to carry it with me. I can drop by starbucks before my first early morning class and then, go to class immediately with my tumbler. :)

i prefer tumbler because i can bring it anywhere i am and its more comfortable than a mug...its safer to bring because the liquid inside of it will not spill out especially when you're inside the car...but occasionally, mug can be used in the hotels or even in a formal gathering :)

MUG! No matter how good a tumbler is, my coffee will always be in my mug! ;)
