If a turtle doesn''t have a shell, is he homeless or naked?

This is what I think. A turtle without a shell would be a fast moving naked turtle lol.

i think that a turtle would have to be naked. naked and vulnerABle to predators.. LOLS.. just a thought though because i can see in cartoons that turtles sometimes lose their shells and thet walk around without it and the word NAKED then flashes in my mind..
