The Dresden Files; the next Firefly?

I've just read that the episode of the Dresden Files that aired on Sunday night is not the pilot episode; the SciFi channel is airing them out of order, and the pilot won't actually show up until February. Holy shades of Firefly, Batman! Don't these TV networks ever learn? So if you were left scratching your head after Sunday's episode, don't give up on The Dresden Files just yet. Stick with it a few episodes and don't let SciFi kill it the way Fox killed Firefly by airing them out of order so the viewers were hopelessly confused. I also read that James Marsters turned down the invitation to audition for the part of Harry Dresden because he didn't want to move to Canada if the pilot was picked up. Bad move, Jimmy! You're not getting any younger and your band kinda sucks.

Hmm...that's interesting. I was wondering why the first episode didn't explain very much. I've read the books, so I wasn't lost, but for people who aren't familiar with the Dresden Files, it must have been confusing.

I have been watching the show and I do enjoy it. I hope they show more new ones soon. They've been playing the same 2 for the last 3 weeks and several times I might add. Oh I could have pictured James Marsters in the role quite easily. I happen to like his ability. I loved him as Spike but I also liked him on Smallville. He was great as Brainiac. Hope to see him in more soon.
