single parenting...how hard is it...for a single father?

I know a man who is a great single father of three kids: a boy age 6, a boy age 5, and a girl age 4. His wife took off and left him 2 years ago. He works 50 hours a week to pay for daycare and food and it's not easy. He doesn't date because people look at him odd when he takes his kids everywhere-- he can't afford an evening sitter too. Single dads can be good parents too.

I suppose they do the same thing single mothers do. They try their best to raise their children and give them the best in the world.
