The concept of X-Men is based on the Greek Mythology of Gods and Demons.The X-Men are modelled on the powers of The Greek Gods, Godessess and Demons,for example Cyclops depicts the one-eyed monster in Greek Mythology.The X-Men symbolicaly depict the paranoia of the North Americans against the other races like the Hispanic,Afghans,Pakistanis,Indians which constitute USA,therefore The X-Men signifies the paranoia of the North Americans against themselves.Interestingly enough even though they are the castaways of the society, they protect the people of America and try to convince them that they are a part of them and mean no harm to them.
