What do you think of the Bush's state of union address he did yesturday? He tried to cover some domestic issues along with his favourite foriegn policy. Do you like his option for Healthcare and war on Iraq? Give me what you thought about the speech....

I think this was a well done, well put together speech. Taking into account he was in a hostile environment for the first time ever, he did a great job of being nonconfrontational. He told Congress what he thought and asked for their help. His domestic policies (with immigration excluded from these comments) were pretty much right on. He outlined several plans and why we needed them. I still think he needs to move back to the conservative base with healthcare for those who need it, but not those who have the money to pay for it. And Education he needs to scrap no child left behind. Immigration is my biggest issue with his speech. He repeated his call for a temporary workers program and this is only going to lead to bigger problems.

It was a good speech written by someone no doubt... His domestic policies are failure from the begining and have no chance of success... 1. Healthcare: Why should people who are working at low wage and good insurance for government (public school teachers, engineers etc) suffer just because others can not get insurance. In government job my wife has a annual contribution from employer of about $18000.00. So according to Mr. BUSH I have to pay taxes on my $3000!!!! Employers are never going to like this idea anyway! 2. No child left behind: I always call that one has All Child left behind!! No doubt this policy has to go if US wants to succeed! 3. Did not offer any other alternative for Social Security!! Bush is a stubborn leader and somehow the meaning of democracy is lost with him!! He does whatever he wants regardless of what people thinks. When Congress opposed his Iraq's plan he said in exact words, "Congress can not stop me from going on with my plan." Looks like words from some dictator.

First, his Healthcare speech is just to cover his War policy. He looks tired. He looks depressed. He knows that America is mad. He needs to do something about Healthcare, because in the wealthiest country, people can not afford to see doctor if sick. But we knows about for so many years. Why is he talking about now? Just to calm everybody. Are you calmed? I am not.
