It's a difficult thing for one to do.. To just stop worrying about things.. I know that I tend to worry quite often about a lot of different things.. It can sometimes be a healthy response though at the same time.. Sometimes worrying can help to prevent one from being reckless, & sometimes it can help us to take control of a situation. But I know that if I worry over a long period of time, like anyone that it is not healthy. I can only give you a few tips that I have found to work when I am worrying about things.. Some of these tips would be: - Try to make a list of what may be troubling you that day or even that week.. When doing this try to concentrate more on statements, because sometimes questions help to provoke one to worry even more I have found.. I have found by concentrating on the statements you may write.. That it helps to focus on the fear itself. Sometimes even burning or tearing up the list helps one to feel a lot better about things.. At least this is what I have found! . . Sometimes as well when you are writing your worry's down on paper.. Try to concentrate on the positive results that could come out of the situation. Instead of letting the negative ones take over. - You can also ask yourself when you are worrying about something.. If by worrying will you be able to change the situation? In most cases quite honestly you can't change these things.. But sometimes you need to get in the mind frame that whatever will be, will be. - Think about what you may want.. And try to satisfy it.. Go for it.. - Sometimes preparing for the worst is a smart thing to do.. At least this is what I have found.. Learning to accept it & then trying to set out to improve that worst case scenario. - Try hoping for the best as well.. Sometimes as silly as it may sound.. Thinking positive helps to work wonders & it also helps to prevent us from worrying to the point where it becomes an obsession.. Where it allows us to fall in to that dark pit.. A positive attitude can make a difference sometimes. - Stay busy. Try to do things that will keep you occupied instead of concentrating on everything that may be bothering you at that time. Quite honestly worrying does not solve the problem at the end of the day.. Try to keep your mind occupied.. When you find yourself worrying to much you may want to try to keep your mind occupied.. Instead of relying on the thing that may be bothering you.. I know it is easier said then done.. But it's all about training yourself on how to think.. By keeping your mind occupied or by doing things with the people whom you love.. It at least helps to keep your mind off of all the worries you may be having.. In reality we can never get rid of all of our worries we may have in life.. But we can try our best to find worrying zappers for the mean time to make one's life a little bit easier.. At least for a short while.. I wish you all the best of luck. xx

If I am stressed about something then I first go crazy trying to fix it. When I realize that I'm not helping anything I try to keep myself busy focusing on something else productive...like cleaning. If I don't focus on something productive I start focusing on my faults or my husbands faults. No one is happy when I do that. lol
