Tell me how to save tis friend

Story plot is quite simple actually...and i believe many of us oso will have faced tis prob b4..It's a gal.. being dumped by tis guy fer a couple of times.. and yet everytime the guy come back say wanna be together again..the gal agree!And at times when they break..the gal even go to the extent of committing suicide!.! As a friend..i feel sad and useless, cos as a friend i cant do much to save her. Can someone tell me wad to do?!!
