have a feminine voice! Is it something looked for by others as a trait or sign, it must be hard to approach a guy if your not sure he is gay is this something you notice!

Most gay guys do NOT have a feminine voice. It appears that you have based your opinion on a stereptypical view of the characteristics of a gay man. The "George Michael" types greatly outnumber the "Richard Simmons" types of gay men.

hmm, i believe richard simmons sort of puts it on though. i've seen him at more serious moments where his voice was just average-sounding. not super high and not excessively manly. i think it's sort of part of his image after so many years...

uh-uh not all gays expose their feminine sides. most gays here rather discreet their personality, some had familys, or giftfriends, you can say "look, he's one hot guy".. lol but you suddenly relised he was a gay. pathetic.. most hottie guys turned out to be gays.

I wouldn't say most have a feminine voice. Of all the gays guys I've known (and I've known dozens!) only two of them had feminine voices. And it's caused in every man (gay or straight) by elevated estrogen levels. There are actually a lot of reasons why a man may have elevated estrogen levels. But oftentimes you do find high estrogen levels in gay men - just like a lot of lesbians have higher testosterone levels than straight women. It's just biological.
