I've read that African Greys are the best talkers and the most intelligent in the bird world. They're intelligence is equivalent to that of a five year old child.

Biwasaki is absolutely correct. Friends of my parents raised African Greys and they could imitate any sound, but they could also just have a conversation with you if they felt like it. They live a very long time, 30 years if you're lucky. That's a lot of time to teach and a lot of time for them to learn.
