No not mow a days simply because I have back problems. How ever I do know of a lady who use to pick them up all the time. Some of the kids in school would throw them down and she would pick them up. They always thought this was funny. She said she thought it was a shame how they disrespected the value of a penny. When I see a penny laying on the ground to this day I think of her, she has now passed away. Thanks for the memories.

So right, where I grew up I always thought it was against the law not to pick it up , or even throwing them out is even by accident LOL

If I see a penny on the ground I do pick it up. But not because I think it will bring me luck. It's just a habbit I got into when I got into when I was younger. Pennies can go a long way when you are living on a fixed income.

Im LWya with my children and they love to do that and I do it to sometimes but not alot because I really dont look at the ground when I walk!!!

Yes I do why leave it laying there some else will pick it some people just oh its just a penny , but pennies make dollars ,

Find a penny, pick it up, pass it on you'll have good luck! That's the saying we grew up with so I pick them up and say the saying when I pass it on. :)

Some times I do. It depends on how much of a rush I'm in. It's rare to find money on the streets these days as most people carry plastic to pay for their purchases.
