it has to do with the moon and gravitation pull, usually your local national weather service will let you know what the tide conditions will be like at a certain time. It is usually a cycle that repeats over and over

Yes but when you are on the ocean shore how do you know if the tide is in or out, I always get it mixed up and can`t tell if it is in or out how do you know
