Has anyone get paid for answering surveys?

There are several web sites that said it will pay you for answering surveys. I don't know if they are scam, or if they are real. Does anyone has some good experience with it? Which site would you recommend.

I have had some very good experiences with survey sites but there are too many to list here really, plus I need to know your location as some are usa/uk/intl.
