SUV or small cars?

I have big family and we often travel together. If I use small car, it doesn't have the capacity for all of us. So I prefer a SUV.

Yes, I like the SUV but here in my city there aren't a lot of parkings, so a small car is better.

I started out driving a HUGE car, a 76 ford ltd (over 20 feet long!), went to a k-car and then I saw the Isuzu Amigo and fell in love (I wanted a Jeep but I needed a clutch extender because I was too short)--took me about 4 or 5 months to find one locally. This was in 1990--I still own it today! I had an Isuzu Trooper (ugh!)for less than 2 years and started back driving the Amigo. After I could no longer drive it (I put huge mud tires on it and between having them and manual steering, my shoulder couldn't take it), I began driving a 90 Chevy Blazer 4x4 and when it needed too many repairs (4 years), I begged my dad for the Isuzu Rodeo (a stick, not a 4x4) and traded him the Blazer for it. I have to haul a lot of stuff (originally antiques, then newspapers and antiques, then stuff I got from freecycle and towing trailers and finally, luggage for the parties I work!). I love them because I can't see anything otherwise!

There are good things about each. We have a Malibu Maxx which is a fairly large car. We like it because it gets better gas mileage than most SUV's but still has more room than most cars. We live 1000 miles from home and drive our car everytime we go home. We need the extra space because we take the dogs with us. And we need the better gas mileage, because obviously gas is expensive, especially when you're driving that many miles.

both of them, i drive a honda accord and even that suv are big cars, i have never had a problem of them blocking parking space, that depends on the ability of the driver, for racing and that i will love a small car, like a honda, a subaru, a mitsubishi well prepared, but for going out of town and for the security i will love an SUV

i prefer small cars because i like the speed.i prefer sport cars but also prefer the limos and the others small cars.
