We got a kitten for Christmas!

There was nothing better than seeing the delight on my 3 boys faces when they heard meowing coming from under the tree. She was in a cat carrier with presents put all around her. Once the kids woke up in the morning, I had a present each for them in another room. So when they went to find those, I quickly put the cat in the carrier and under the tree. She is truly a delight and even the 7 year old cat is playing with it, but not when anyone is looking. If she knows you are watching, she totally ignores the kitten, but when she thinks no one is around she is playing. We lost 2 of our 17 year old cats last year, and I wanted at least one more and felt that nothing could be better than finding one under the tree!
