When did you lose your virginity?

Being a virgin nowadays is not the usual thing. Most people lose their virginity as early as when they hit puberty. I believe a lot of this is because of the influence of media on young minds. The movies portray those who are promiscuous as being "cool" and belong to the in-crowd while those who wait are considered prudes or aloof. I still believe in waiting until after marriage. Your virginity is the best gift you can give your spouse. When did you lose your virginity?

I was one month from being 17 and I thought I was in love, which I wasn't. I admit, it was a bad call, but I was interested in a guy who was not a virgin and I thought that it was the only way to get in good with him...bad choice!

I lost my virginity when I was 14, to my second boyfriend. We are still friends. He is a good hearted person. I do not regret losing my virginity. If I ever get married someday, their are more important things I can give someone I love other than my virginity. It's a persons choice. It's not a bad thing for someone to wait, but if someone chooses not that - that is their choice as well.

The common definition of a virgin is someone who has never had a very intimate relationship with the opposite gender before marriage. I think virginity can be a symbol of purity. Purity is precious to both man and wife in a marriage. So I suggest both boys and girls should keep their purity intact before they become couples.

I was almost 16. I think I was like 15 and 3/4. I wish I would of waited! I had a baby 6 days after my 17th birthday. I wish I would of done a lot of things different....but I don't regret any of my children. I think your opinion is the way to go. Wait until you are married! Don't rush it. It's SOOOO not worth it!

I lost mine when I was in highschool. No regrets though. Virginity should not be an issue. It is a choice. Nothing is wrong with losing one's virginity as long as you are responsible, and not stepping on anyone's shoes or making out with a committed person. But if one chooses to be a virgin, I agree that is the best gift ever to be given to your beloved half.

Yeah, I also believe in waiting for the man that you will spend the rest of your life with before giving that most "precious gift" but it doesn't mean that those who lost it much earlier are less of a person. They are not. It is just a matter of choice and standing for the choice that you made. Meaning, having no regrets after deciding to loose it. Virginity also can have different meanings. It means being entirely pure, those technical virgins (if you know what I mean), virgins by choice, and virgins by circumstances. It cannot be just taken in just one concept. But you know what? at this age of mine, I'm proud to say that I still am. It's up to you to guess which among the choices I enumerated decsribes my type! (laugh!)

I lost my virginity when I was 15, with my first boyfriend. I thought it was true love forever - but it wasn't at all. I was young and silly, and if I could do it all over again I would have waited till it really was someone special. BUT HOW DO YOU KNOW TRUE LOVE WHEN YOUR YOUNG?????

I am one of those people who lost it early. I lost my virginity when I was only 14 years old. I ended up getting pregnant when I was 16 and now I am 17 and have a 6 week old baby boy.

I am still virgin and I am 23 by now. Most of my friends keep on telling me that virginity is not about dignity but its all about oportunity but I don't think so. I think that it would be better if I wait for some more time and when I get sure about my life partner.

I lost my virginity when I was in my early 20's and it was to my husband now. So what happened is that my honeymoon gift to him came in a little early. But, like you said, nowadays, virginity doesn't seem to be an issue anymore. If you really love the girl then her virginity should not be a big deal.
