Our govt claims that Indian economy is booming. If that is so why: - Every single time the DOW Jones index drops just few points our Sensex just crashes drop hundred points? - If economy is booming why more than half of the population is still under below poverty line and still we hear people dieing of hunger? Why they dont have even clothes to wear? - Why the inflation is rising like anything. Why the prices of basic commodities are sky roketting? - Why india is one of the most corrupted nations in the world? - Why india is one of the most debt heavy nations of the world? According to me our economy is not strong but just bubble solely dependent on the supply of dollars pumped into the country by the NRI's. The day NRI's stop sending dollors back home Indian economy bubble bursts. Will some one throw more light on this.

Well it is not that I am following the indian economy constantly but when i was in korea I had to write a research paper abuot korea's economy and while doing so i got to learn many stuff about India. I think the only reason for that is their relationship with China. India is a cheap labor country same as China. Nowadays Chinese and Indian market is called CHINDIA as a new name to it. I think China and India are working together thats why. I hope I managed to help you...:) bye

Yes! its really booming in India. After NASDAQ entry it gets new blood and more number of FIs found in the market. The index also ticking very actively, by the end of this march the sensex may touch 15000 mark. Its good sign too.
