What types of toys do you buy for your kids. Do you buy them educational toys, stuff toys, activity toys, action figures, etc. So which ones are your choices and why?

I don't have kids, but I have younger brothers and a sister who I buy toys for. My brothers love any type of game system and video games, so they always ask for Play station or gameboy games. But I never get them anything violent or too mature for them. These days, there are a lot of educational toys that are fun I should start getting them something like that instead of too many video games. We also buy lots of board games.
