Dog barking driving me crazy.Why is dog always barking at me?

I stay with my friends in a rented room in first floor.There is a dog that is tied up at ground floor.If we have to reach our room in first floor we have to pass by the dog.Even though we are staying in that room from a long time it barks at us whenever we move along the dog.How can i overcome this?Hey let me say you onething i am not a thief,the dog is barking even at everyone.
