Is there really a war on drugs or just a war on drug dealers? It seems to me that if they are trying to help people, they would or could help the bazillion people who are stuck needing the drug in order to continue work. In other words thiese people would love to get off of the speed but can not afford to miss work for the 3 days to 3 weeks it will take to come down or un-glued. It is understandable to want to get the meth labs and pushers out of our neighborhoods etc. But what about the parents in those neighborhoods who are trapped in addiction? I am talking about the same mom and dads tou see at the PTA meetings and the soccer field. Not the ones who love the high and are always bringing the kids late to the game...... The dads in suit and tie the mom who works all day or night to help make ends meet. What am I getting at? A patch............. they haVE patches to help a person get off the cigarettes.............. no one gets in trouble for smoking even though the gouvernment says its bad and should not be done in public. A patch why not? You want to get to the heart of the meth problem and have a war we can all see win, invent a patch that blocks the come down hell and allows the person to continue work without being in trouble for asking for the patch....... and you will see the market for the drug go way way down. Anyway thats what I think about the "War on drugs" . its like the war we are in and this president wanting to send more troops.............. I think we don't use the long arm of the law to bust the guy with a dime baG meth he has in his pocket for tomorrows work day.... and send him to jail where he will end up without a job when he gets out and may loose his home from lack of a job.,.. give the guy the option of a patch... Hell just put it out there and watch the number of men and women line up for it. What do yoiu think/
