I have to go to the dentist tomorrow and miss a day of school because I need to have two teeth removed to make space while my braces straighten my teeth. I am a little scared of needles and thinking about one in my mouth scares me alot. Plus I hear that when they remove the tooth it comes out long and weird looking which also freaks me out a little. If you had the experience, can you offer any advice or helpful words?

Tooth extraction is not that painful. The one to perform it on you is a professional, so why worry? You must be confident that the dentist shall do everything to make you feel as comfortable as possible before extracting your teeth. Tooth extraction nowadays is almost painless because of new types of anaesthesia dentists are using. Shed all your fears have a good rest, you'll need it.

My girlfriend had to have all her baby teeth pulled when she was a kid. She told me that it's not that bad after they give you the novacain. you dont feel a thing. When they take the tooth out, just close your eyes, you wont know what it looks like.
