Do you have any know-how about acupunctur to soften headache?

I desease by periodical soften headache. my parents told me they know an alternative practitioner which would have know-how in acupunctur. i want do something against my headaches but i´m very critical. Do you have any know-how or expierences about acupuncture to soften headache? Please tell me.
