My sister and her husband are certified surf addicts. They've been going around the Philippines almost every weekend surfing, mostly at La Union or Zambales. I envy them so much. This is something I would definitely want to do,although I do have some apprehensions since I'm not that good of a swimmer..but what the heck, I can always wear a lifevest right?^_^ Well I have some pictures of their surfing adventures here for you guys:) Hopefully one day,I'll be one of the people surfing in the picture, and I can show it to the whole mylot community^_^

Hi,when you visit the cornish beaches here in the UK you will often see a host of surfers and it always looks very inviting, but the looks are deceiving I am sure,to be there on the waves with the fear of going under the water,I would find that very hard to take,I am just not a brave person for sport, and defiantely not water sports

I would love to learn how to surf too, :-) I heard they are having basic surf lessons at Club Manila East in Taytay Rizal. Its just 1,500 bucks for 2 hours of lessons, comes with free surfboard rental plus lots of fun minus the worries that you will get swept away in the open sea because you get to surf on a swimming pool with artificial waves. We should give it a try :-) Check their site, PM me for the site. :-)

I want to surf too. But unfortunately I can get to the ocean on a weekly basis because it's too far. I live in absolute middle of northern Jersey. So that means there isn't any shore in sight. It didn't bother me until I got into extreme sports.
