If you won a multi million dollar lottery

if you won millions of dollars in the lottery would you try to keep it a secret or would you let your friends and family know about your good fortune ?
I dont think I would tell anyone, not even my family because everyone that knew would show up at your door with their hand out. I think I would pack up my wife and kids and move to another country. Dont get me wrong, I would share my good fortune with my family but I think I would make arrangments to transfere money to them after I was long gone. What about you ? What would you do ?

I think I would invest it as fast as I possibly could and hide it from everyone.lol

I don't think I would tell anyone either, not even my family. But I would definitely pay off my mom's debts and give them gifts. But I would make up some sort of story that maybe I just won a little bit, but I would never tell them I won so much. Then I'd invest some of it in some sort business, keep most of it in time deposit and savings in a bank. You can never tell these days, there are a lot of criminals out there just waiting to pounce and take advantage of people who strike it rich. So I guess I would keep it quiet for some time to make sure to keep me and my family safe.

I would share the news with my family only! If my friends found out, they would just come to me with their woes in hopse of me spreading my newly acquired fortune on them. And I am sure I would have "friends" finding me. But now, on second thought, here in NC, lottery winners have their faces plastered on the news channels as being the lottery winner so it would not really matter who I told, everyone is going to find out.
