I Got My Star!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK this is probably a frivalous discussion, but I am so excited, I got my star and I am a 10! (at least until this posting) :)
I was wasn't sure what I had to do to earn to the star, but I think I figured out that I need at least 100 posts, is that right???
Anyway, I am happy now, I got my star!

I congratulate you too. No one is sure how mylot awards the star status. Having a 10 immediately upon reaching 100 posts is a real achievement. You must have posted a lot of quality ones.
I would be as enthusiastic as you are if I achieve a 10. I have been a 9ner from the beginning till today. But I am still proud of myself.

No the star rates the quality of the your discussions and your responses to other peoples discussions. I don't think it makes on difference in earning, it just shows the people the type of responses you can expect. Your rating will go up if you answer is voted Best Response or if some marks your discussion has helpful. It doesn't really mean anything, I just wanted one!

Congratulations for a great job, having a star rating of 10 after you have reached 100 points is quite rare occurence. It also means one thing, you have done a great job in contributing quality topics and responding to discussions. Receiving such a high rating shows that a lot of users appreciate your work. Keep up the good work, best of luck.

Thank you, I am surprised by everyones reaction, I see a lot of 10s on the boards when we are talking. I was just telling my boyfriend that I was going to get a 1 for my star and I was going to be very disappointed. Thank you again for your comments.

Congratualtions!! You are correct in thinking you needed 100 posts to earn it. Wow I can't believe you're a ten already, that's fabulous! Good for you. When I got mine it was only a four :( but by the next day I had increaded it to a nine and now I seem to be stuck here, lol. Happy posting.

It is good that your star rating is 10. Mine is only 8 when I reach 100. I not sure why my rating is not 10. check it out for yourself and tell me my star worth 10?. I do admit that some of my post have grammar and spelling error but I don't think it matter much . Probably because I am choosing to post at those un-popular topic. I figure I might get if selected as best respond if the competition is not stiff. I guess it is kinda like double edge, less people see my post , less people rate me.

It is correct that you need 100 posts. You are lucky to have a 10. My rating is a 7. You post very good responses and make up good discussions. I feel you will do well here on mylot. Good job!

Yeah, I know what you mean. I started out at a nine, but as of this writing I'm all the way down to a six. I've pretty much decided just not to worry about it at this point! I'm just going to keep doing what I'm doing and if it keeps falling, oh well!
